Guidance for current active applicants
To remain on the Housing Register you will need to:
- Have your Homechoice login reference
- Create a new customer account
- Re-register your application before 5.00pm on Friday 31 March 2023
This should take no longer than 45 minutes to complete.
Once you submit your new application, you will automatically keep your existing Band and priority date.

Bidding for Properties
- Continue to bid for properties on Sutton Homechoice until Friday, 31st March 2023
- You will not be able to bid on properties on Sutton Homechoice after Friday, 31st March 2023
- After this time, you will be able to bid for properties on the new Encompass Homechoice website if you have registered your application on this website
- If you re-register before Friday, 30th June 2023, or let us know you are having difficulty accessing the new system, your account will be be closed.
Creating an new account
- An active email address is required to create your account
- You will need your existing Sutton Homechoice login reference number
- Help guides are available on the website
You can get help to complete your online housing register application if you:
- Do not have access to a device like a laptop or a smartphone
- Do not feel confident using a computer or mobile device
- Do not have internet access
